Job Title: Wooden Spray Painter
Department: Finishing
Reports To: Finishing Supervisor
Summary:
The Wooden Spray Painter is responsible for applying paint to wooden surfaces using a spray gun. This includes preparing the surfaces, mixing the paint, and applying the paint evenly and smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience in spray painting wood, as well as knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare wooden surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and priming.
- Mix paints and finishes according to specifications.
- Apply paint to wooden surfaces using a spray gun.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and make any necessary repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures when using spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in spray painting wood.
- Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Physical Demands:
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach.
- The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 -30 kg.
- The employee is frequently exposed to fumes, dust, and chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The work environment is usually well-lit and ventilated.
